At Parkway Medical Laser & Skin Centre we have a variety of options when visible improvements are desired. Some of our most basic and least aggressive treatments are DermaSweep MD, Chemical Peels, Epidermal Leveling, and Facials. These treatments are also a wonderful way to maintain the results of some of our more in-depth procedures.

DermaSweep MD
This new medical microdermabrasion system eliminates the messy and often times irritating aluminum oxide crystals that most microdermabrasion systems rely on to remove dead skin. Instead, Derma Sweep features a closed system that features a variable level vacuum pump that gently lifts the skin surface as the device "sweeps away" the dead skin. This medical-grade system results in a deeper peel and polish of your skin. Derma Sweep is also used to individualize treatments to specific skin conditions such as acne, sun-damaged or hyperpigmentation. Early signs of skin aging are also treated using DermaSweep's unique Epidermal Infusion treatments.

Epidermal Leveling / Derma Planing is the latest insight into peeling techniques and is an in-office procedure.  A newly designed blade is designed with an increased awareness for safety.  This treatment effectively removes a layer of dead skin cells while at the same time removes fine facial hair without the harsh effects of waxing.  Epidermal Leveling / Derma Planing helps to increase absorption of active products, increase firmness and elasticity, and minimizes fine lines and wrinkles.  This treatment is recommended once a month for the best results.

Facials incorporate the use of steam and mild exfoliating techniques to freshen the skin & allow us to remove any impactions of the pores. The result is a cleaner complexion with fewer tendencies towards breakouts.
We also offer a unique facial treatment and personalized skin care lesson designed specifically for our teenage clients.

To achieve optimal results, Dr. Blume and aestheticians Allison Madigan will customize your treatments to suit your individual needs until you have achieved the results you desire. At that time, they may recommend you occasionally return for additional sessions to help maintain your skins’ revitalized, radiant glow.
